Position Snapshot

Location: Budapest IX. District

Required qualification: University or college degree in Economics/Food, Life, Animal Science/ Supply Chain/ Project Management

Expected experience: Minimum 5 years of project management (from idea to product launch) track record in any industry (New Product Development, Product Life Cycle or Technology Transfers)

Language: Fluency in English is a must

Position Summary

You will be responsible for driving European Innovation & Renovation projects with medium or high complexity from Idea to Launch by influencing cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, in quality and within costs.

A day in the life of...

As Project Manager you will lead cross-functional project teams composed of marketing, R&D, technical community, regulatory, planning, production sites, finance, and engineer to deliver the project timelines.

You will ensure alignment across the different functions of the project team via conducting & facilitating regular project meetings.

Moreover you will build network with other project managers and stakeholders through Europe, expected travel is around 15-20% which depends on project a team needs.

 

Leading projects from idea to product launch will include:

  • facilitate technical and marketing team to define project scope and key success criterias of new projects
  • follow up scope changes and impacts on project timeline, costs and resources
  • prepare & continuously track project timing with milestones, support team to find alternatives in case of challenges or roadblocks, escalate and prepare for decision making
  • facilitate opportunity and risk assessment process and work on action plan together with core project teams and extended teams
  • communicate task status & progress at appropriate level, ensure information flow with all parties involved
  • collaborate with functional partners to make resource assignments, to resolve issues, to mitigate risks
  • develop and maintain project documentation
  • initiate product codification and handle administrative tasks linked to the projects
  • capture lessons learned during the project lifecycle and lead post-launch project reviews

  • Microsoft Office user practice (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word)
  • Knowledge of SAP data management module (asset)
  • Technical knowledge of life science or food processing
  • Ability to manage medium to high complex projects
  • At ease to speak in front a working group and to drive it
  • Able to work within an international community (different countries)
  • Knowledge in MS Project planning tool (asset)
  • Coaching & leadership skills
  • Curious personality with out of the box thinking.
  • Resistant to stress, able to manage conflicts, organized
