Quality Coordinator

Quality Coordinator

Position Snapshot

 

Location: Budapest
College or University degree (preferably: food engineer; food safety & quality engineer; chemistry or similar) 
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Experience: minimum 3-5 years 
 

Position Summary

 

To ensure and develop implementation and effectiveness of the quality system according to the required standards in cooperation with all related functions in the company. Drive vendor management in the market as Supplier Quality Assurance specialist.

A day in the life of...

 

NMS area
 

  • Ensure reliability and appropriate function of the quality system (NMS) in Hungary at HO Budapest, factories and all co-manufacturers
  • Keep contact with IMS-certification body and organise audits  and training as required
  • Complete missing documents according the findings of the audits, keep the NMS system up-to-date (HO procedures, process maps etc.) – HO Budapest
  • Responsible for Internal audit planning and execution
  • Prepare and lead MRQ and BRQ in agreed frequency (including AP follow up)


SQA area

 

  • Responsible for the SQA agenda (audit planning, system approval, AP follow up, risk assessement etc.)
  • Responsible for SQA alerts for HU market (part of the global SQA community)
  • Leading the co-man agenda in HU market (audit, approval, MOB, new co-man selection etc.)


General QA area

 

  • Act as crises co-ordinator in the market (call for the crises meetings, be a part of the crises committee, coordinate QA tasks etc.)
  • Assist other departments such as Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Marketing, Sales and Logistics and provide them with requirements and services necessary to ensure quality in their fields
  • Promote a Quality Awareness culture and be the main driver for Quality (safety and consumer preference) in the market – including trainings (Faces of quality, NMS training, sales etc.)
  • Act as an advisor for any quality questions / issues for all employees in Budapest HO
  • Together with Regulatory Affairs maintain a sustainable contact to authorities to be able to defend the company if necessary
  • Assist in Legal / Corporate Communication from professional point of view – formulate the Nestlé standpoint in quality and food safety issues.
  • Co-ordinate Co-manufacturing activity from technical side excluding beverages and chocolate areas
  • Ensure mock recall/traceability excercises for HU factories as per plan
  • Act as a market HACCP champion (part of the global HACCP community, support and challenge factories etc.)
  • MOGE review 
  • As per request works on the specific QA related tasks/projects based on the RQA decision

  • Solid computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, SAP is an advantage)
  • Good communication skills
