  • Location: Budapest IX. district and home office
  • Education: University degree in science (Certificate or Master degree in regulatory affairs or PhD in a scientific field)
  • Experience: Min. 2-3 years regulatory environment or equivalent experience (food association, industry, or governmental authorities) 
  • Languages: English & Hungarian: fluent


Position Summary

 

​Specialist Regulatory and Scientific Affairs contributes to compliant labelling and product related communications, gives input to business & technical in local I&R projects and builds relations with authorities and associations.


A day in the life of a Regulatory Affairs Specialist...

 

  • Ensure regulatory compliance of recipes, raw materials and products, labelling and any kind of product communication by working in close collaboration with marketing, nutritionists, legal and quality department and application groups. Give guidance to relevant networks
  • Provide support to Businesses and work in close cooperation with all relevant units (e.g. Public Affairs). Support Marketing with suggesting and evaluating potential nutritional & health claims/other trend related claims (CSV claims) to support products position on the market
  • Keep abreast of regulatory knowledge locally, at relevant countries and at EU and/or other international standard-setting organizations and share knowledge with RSA Staff and other functions
  • Provide expert knowledge of relevant product category, active communication with marketing, C TAG, QA and RSA team
  • Handling of Market Complaints on regulatory issues and supports management and marketing as well as Consumer call center in case of more complicated complaints/matters
  • Provide risk assessment
  • Provide regulatory training to Marketing and other internal stakeholders, including factory staff (QA, AG) as needed
  • Provide input to the crisis management and communication process as RSA specialist representing categories under his/her responsibility
  • According to request given by QA Manager CZ/SK/HU manage QA related tasks at market level
