Position Snapshot
 

  • Location: Budapest (IX.) and Home Office
  • Education: College / University degree in Sustainability / Environmental Studies / Environmental Econonomic Studies / Food Science field
  • Experience: 2-3 years working on Sustainability / ESG related projects in multinational corporation
  • Language: Fluent English and Hungarian in written and spoken
  • Fixed term. position for 2 years



Position Summary

 

 

​Support & coordinate the implementation of the market sustainability roadmap across Nestlé Hungary in line with CEE & Zone strategy.

 


A day in the life of a Sustainability Specialist...

 

  • ​Coordinate efforts and teams across the market, ensuring that sustainability targets are embedded into category, functions and operations planning and implementation. Monitor and report on progress. 
  • Coordinate and follow-up on local programs/projects/actions plan aligned with company strategy to ensure all activities and commitments are delivered as per agreed timeframe and KPIs.
  • Coordinate local packaging and circularity initiatives. 
  • Support the businesses in incorporating sustainability into the brand essence.
  • Co-develop external and internal communication and engagement strategy for sustainability. Ensure that sustainability communication is integrated into communications planning. Execute with Corporate Comm team and CEE Digital Comm Manager.
  • Build and maintain a sustainability community (Champions network, U4Green) and cooperate with HR providing education, guidance and training to develop sustainability capability across the organisation.
  • Support the ESG reporting process for Nestlé Hungária
