Position Summary

 

  • Leads channel operations and monitors execution
  • Day to day cooperates with KAs and BMs for perfect execution
  • Lead the development of complete channel solutions that better meet shopper & customer needs
     

A day in the life of...

 

  • Is responsible for managing Channel activity plans at a Corporate and Category level
  • Is responsible for articulating where we will play based on Category, Shopper, Consumer and Customer insights and needs, and how we will win.
  • Demontrates deep understanding of the Shopper and Retail Landscape, channel dynamics. Monitors market trends is able to conclude to define size of opportunity and to propose actions.
  • Leads channel/ customer specific activities from scracth till execution. Own and responsible for the process constantly up to date on status and shares result. 
  • Supports and partners with sales in engaging customewr in finding new opportunities or to close gaps. Proposes portfolio update and communicates priorities. Prepares selling stories based on deep channel and customer understanding.
  • They will develop and integrate into the commercial planning processes the element of the Channel wheel and ultimately publish a picture of success for the Category in the Channel, enabling its implementation, continuous review and optimization.
  • They develop channel solutions and contribute to build commercially aligned business cases and key initiatives that address the opportunity for channel growth.

  • Time in Industry:  min 1-3 years professional experience
  • Cross Functional Experience: Category (Trade Marketing), Customer, Marketing
  • With at least 2 out of 5 Commercial Functional Experiences
  • Demonstrated Commercial Competencies: Excel in Customer Management, Project Management
  • Demonstrated Leadership Competencies: Pro-active co-operation, Results Focus
  • Education: Relevant Tertiary and Professional Qualifications
