Import Supply Planner

Position Snapshot

 

  • Location: Budapest
  • Experience: One or more years of relevant operational experience, in: Supply or production planning / Demand Planning / Customer Service / Physical distribution
  • Language: English fluent 

Position Summary

 

To manage the Supply Network of the assigned area of the business by replenishing each dispatch point to meet customer service objectives whilst maintaining optimal stock cover that takes into account the distribution costs.

A day in the life of...

 

  • Follow the weekly planning cycle and deadlines                
  • Establish, periodically review and maintain the stock cover policy                
  • Create and validate Partnership agreements, ensure proper IMS requirements in the IMS Product Briefs. Establish good working relationship with IMS partners, manufacturing, stakeholders within Supply Chain                
  • Ensure properly set and maintained master data                 
  • Challenge Production Planners to manage lot sizes, cycle times to drive optimum FG inventory and required Freshness level                
  • Challenge Demand Planners to improve Demand Planning Accuracy                
  • Monitor dispatch plans evolution, identify issues that might affect supply (potential OOS and overstocks), proactively manage those with the production sites                
  • Review load plans and dispatch plans as a basis for the supply issues or potential issues communication with the stakeholders                
  • Analyse and effectively communicate with Demand planners and other stakeholders about the timing of availability (planned dispatches) of new product launches; timing of the last production of the products under discontinuation   
  • Proactively balance the stock between the receivers in case products cannot be produced to minimize the impact of OOS                
  • Analyze exceptions, proactively escalate and search for the solutions                
  • Follow KPIs and PPIs, perform  regular health-checks                
  • Analyse the stock situation at the CZ/SK Distribution Centre, review the stock evolution, timely advice Distribution to avoid storage capacity deficits
