The Human Resource (HR) Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the HR Department. This position provides essential administrative and clerical support while coordinating various projects.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative assistance to the HR team, including answering phone calls, creating communication memos, maintaining department files, and scheduling meetings. Coordinate meeting logistics, including food arrangements. Offer support to HR staff with administrative tasks as needed.
- Prepare and maintain reports using SAP Master Data, including new-hire and absentee reports. Update and maintain company organizational charts. Undertake additional projects and responsibilities as assigned, such as managing announcements, rosters, employee contact lists, PTO calendars, and conducting periodic or special report analyses. Participate in annual projects, including developing succession planning review materials, talent review materials, and auditing reports.
- Plan, lead, and manage several employee and community events each year, ensuring that each event reflects the company’s image, culture, and mission. Assist with the coordination and administration of cultural assimilation groups and events.
- Coordinate all administrative activities necessary for onboarding and exiting employees, as applicable. This may include providing support as the IT Coordinator (ITC) for your client group and managing floor or cube assignments for the supported group.
- Maintain and track departmental expenses related to supplies and other purchases.
- Continuously create and innovate processes to support the evolution of our ways of working.
- Administer site-level payroll activities as needed based on location.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the HR department, addressing inquiries from the employee production population.
- Manage the job posting system for the site and track employee position movements from beginning to end.
- Support the HR team with recruitment activities for all position levels within the location.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred.
- Two years of experience as an administrative assistant.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
