As the HR Coordinator at our Burlington Factory—home to Toll House Chocolate Morsels and Refrigerated Cookie Dough—you’ll be the heartbeat of our HR operations. Supporting a dynamic workforce of over 400 employees in a unionized environment, you’ll ensure smooth and efficient HR processes while playing a key role in shaping site culture. From providing critical administrative support and coordinating key HR functions to leading employee engagement and community events, you’ll help bring our values to life and create a seamless employee experience.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Serve as the first point of contact for the HR department, handling employee inquiries and supporting the HR team with scheduling, communications, and file management.
- Coordinate meeting logistics, including room bookings and catering.
- Offer support to the HR team with administrative tasks as needed.
- HR Systems & Reporting:
- Maintain and generate reports using SAP Master Data (e.g., new hire, absenteeism).
- Keep organizational charts and HR records up to date.
- Support annual HR projects such as succession planning, talent reviews, and auditing reports.
- Employee Experience & Events:
- Plan and lead employee and community events that reflect our culture and values.
- Assist with cultural assimilation initiatives and employee engagement programs.
- Onboarding & Offboarding:
- Coordinate onboarding and exit processes, including IT setup and workspace assignments.
- Act as the IT Coordinator (ITC) for your client group.
- Payroll & Expense Tracking:
- Administer site-level payroll activities as needed.
- Track departmental expenses and manage supply orders.
- Recruitment & Job Postings:
- Manage the site’s job posting system and track internal movements.
- Support recruitment activities across all position levels.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance HR operations.
What You’ll Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative support role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
