Position Summary

We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a talented individual to join our team in Supply Chain as a DPS Supply Planner based in Buxton.

Do you have experience of a dynamic fast-paced supply chain environment?  Do you have the ability to analyse and interpret data? Do you have the mind-set and initiative for continuous improvement? Then this could be the role you are looking for.

At Nestle Waters, we are passionately committed to enhancing people’s quality of life by leading Healthy Hydration through our passion for water and drive to be the no. 1 sustainable bottles water company in everything we do. We are also proud to produce some of the UK’s best-loved brands including Buxton, Nestle Pure Life, San Pellegrino, Acqua Panna and Perrier.
Our supply chain really is at the heard of all operations at Nestle Waters from sourcing raw materials right through to delivering the end product to our customer. A day in the life of a DPS Supply Planner

You will be responsible for creating and managing a short-term supply plan recognising all constraints within the supply stream for those assets you manage, to meet customer demand.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

•    Managing stock projections and ensuring the production plan meets our demand requirements.
•    Reacting to changes in the MPS plan to ensure that we are making the right products at the right time to satisfy customer demands.
•    Working closely with Operations to create a detailed production plan that appreciates the constraints of the assets for both packing and manufacturing.
•    Executing supply strategies to ensure delivery of key stakeholder deliverables, while working on E2E Cost savings

What will make you successful

Ideally you will have knowledge and experience of supply chain preferably in an end-to-end planning  role. Experience or knowledge from Nestlé’s factories would be advantageous. You will have a strong problem-solving mind-set, as well as the ability to challenge and improve existing processes.

The role involves working with large teams and interacting with people of all levels (both internally and externally) and you will be required to be an effective influencer and communicator. With excellent numeracy and analytical skills, you will also demonstrate an excellent understanding of software applications e.g. Windows & Microsoft Office. Your excellent teamwork and communication skills will be accompanied with a self-motivated attitude and flexible approach.

This is a great opportunity to work within a talented and dedicated team, in what will be a challenging role.  In return, we will offer you all the support and guidance necessary to succeed in this role.

What you need to know

What can we offer in return? Great benefits you’d expect from a business the size of Nestlé Waters – in the shape of a competitive salary and benefits package, bonus scheme, flexible working scheme, 25 days holiday, statutory holidays plus flex leave, pension scheme and a real focus on personal development and growth.

The closing date for this role is 30th November 2021.

This is a full-time permanent position. We will be considering applicants as they apply, so please don’t delay in submitting your application.

At Nestlé, our values are rooted in respect – for our employees, our customers and our consumers.  That’s why championing diversity and inclusion is so important to us; when we embrace different perspectives and give everyone the chance to be the best they can be, we can think in new, creative ways that grow and enhance our business. We are committed to equal opportunity for all and we may collect relevant data for monitoring purposes during our candidate registration process.  Be yourself, everyone else is taken!
