Shift pattern: Monday-Friday – 37.5 working week – 8:30-16:30
Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience + potential 5% annual bonus + generous pension scheme + 12 flexible days on top of 25-day holiday entitlement + 2 paid volunteering days + other fantastic benefits!

Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Hygiene Specialist to join our team working at our state-of-the-art Water bottling facility in Buxton – the home of the Buxton Waters brand.
We are looking for someone who wants to accept the challenge and have a visible and sustainable impact on how we operate to ensure GMP in our production operations.
In this role, you will be a member of the QA team working to ensure that all Nestlé requirements of food safety, quality, and hygiene are consistently applied across the production lines.

A day in the life of a Hygiene Specialist
Your responsibilities in this role will include but not be limited to:
- Define, document, implement, and support factory GMP and hygienic standards
- Be the key contact for the Quality department in all aspects of the shift operations
- Support the factory TPM journey through the implementation and continuous improvement of the CIL programme & QA asset care support the on-line checks completed by operators
- Maintain the pest control programmes to Nestlé standards and act as IPM Champion
- Monitoring and maintaining hygiene equipment and supplies ensures that necessary hygiene equipment, such as cleaning tools are available and in good working condition. Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
- Collaborating with other departments: Work closely with other departments, such as production and maintenance to ensure that hygiene practices are integrated into their processes. Provide guidance on hygiene requirements during production, storage, and transportation of goods.

Further skills and experience required:
- Understanding of general food safety and hygiene principles, with a good knowledge of a factory floor operation.
- A keen eye for detail and ability to identify potential hygiene risks or areas that require improvement. Attention to detail is crucial for conducting inspections, audits, and ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with other team members, providing training or guidance to employees, and reporting any hygiene-related issues or concerns
- Experience of problem-solving activities
- Proactive and self-managing, with the ability to prioritise workloads and to adapt to meet requirements. A proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, such as using email, spreadsheets, or hygiene management software, may be required for documentation, reporting, or data entry tasks.
