We are looking for a SHE Executive to develop and drive SHE initiatives leading to continuous improvement in SHE Performance.

A day in the life of...

  • Advice the Management team in all aspects Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) matters.
  • Thorough Knowledge of national legislation, codes of practice and company policy, ensure that the Site SHE Management Systems delivers legal and business compliance.
  • Assist in development of short and long term plan to deliver site SHE objectives.
  • Initiate and lead Safety, Health & Environment in the factory.
  • Lead the SHE Risk Assessment process ensuring risks are identified and control measures implemented proactively to reduce risks of accidents and incidents.
  • Manage an effective audit programme to identify non-compliance and action for continuous improvement. In addition, he/she will participate in audits at other business locations.
  • Lead incident investigation team ensuring identification of root causes for major incidents.
  • Develop and implement communication systems to ensure optimum awareness across the Factory on Safety, Health and Environment matters.
  • Provide data, support and advice to the Management Team to improve decision making regarding SHE and to integrate SHE into business decisions.
  • Facilitate and run training programs to support SHE initiatives.
  • To ensure the success of NIMS Audit.
  • Work closely with DOSH, DOE, BOMBA and other authorities on SHE matters.

What will make you successful

Must Have:

  • Attended SHO course and formal tertiary qualifications in safety, health or environment.
  • Green Book (Competent) SHE Office

 

Additional:

  • Passion for SHE and desire to create safe work areas and safety culture.
  • Able to communicate and influence people at all levels of organization.
  • Able to conduct SHE Trainings
  • Good Communication skill
  • Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
