Raw Materials Handler / Coordinator

Job Summary

The Raw Materials Handler is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing raw materials needed for production. This role ensures that materials are available in the right quantity, quality, and at the right time to support efficient operations. The position also maintains accurate inventory records and follows safety and quality standards at all times.

Job Description / Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming raw materials to ensure accuracy and quality compliance
• Store materials properly in designated areas following safety and inventory procedures
• Issue raw materials to production based on approved requests or schedules
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements (manual or system-based)
• Ensure proper labeling and handling of materials to avoid damage or contamination
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in audits
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams for material availability
• Follow company policies on safety, health, and environmental standards
• Keep storage and working areas organized and clean
