POSITION SUMMARY

Lead the supply planning Team and manage the supply planning processes across the supply network, ensuring required level of customer service while optimizing Total Delivered Cost and ensuring Customer and Consumer centricity mindset.

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

  • Ensure Customer and Consumer centricity mindset in the effective and optimal supply planning process so that finished and semi-finished goods are available with high freshness, at the right stock location to meet customer demand whilst optimizing cost.
  • Build medium- and long-term visibility on aggregated level of respective Category of factory performance output and capacity utilization based on optimal and constrained production plans.
  • Find and introduce the right balance for production frequency, lot sizes, planned downtimes, capacity utilization having in mind product freshness, Total Delivered Cost and working capital objectives.
  • Ensures Category stock cover strategy execution and coordinates regular stock policy revision.
  • Ensure smooth operations by effective communication and close collaboration with all partners at the Factory and in the Inter Market supply affiliates (being first point of escalations)
  • Verifies and validates within agreed framework debottlenecking solutions where production volumes exceed available capacity (with E2E cost analysis) including preproduction decisions, contingencies, sourcing changes, product allocation, arbitrage etc. Perform scenario planning.
  • Validates and communicates supply risks through procurement material sourcing strategy for strategic materials. Provides support to factories to link with global procurement for escalation topics.
  • Ensures I&R projects implementation by effective supply planning across markets.
  • Provides support to Functional Lead on process standardization and deployment for best practices.
  • Career and succession planning, development and coaching of Team members in close co-operation with respective Market DSPs
  • Streamline implementation of new planning tools within their own network of Factories as well as the planning hub

 

 

 

ARE YOU A FIT?

 

  • Preferred 3-5 years of experience at Corporate/Category DSP Manager or similar leadership position.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in fields such as Engineering, Supply Chain, Business.
  • Proven positive record on the position Supply Planner for big scale factory.
  • Good awareness and understanding of business and market trends.
  • Good awareness of technologies (SAP-APO) and output factory standards.
  • Practical understanding of risk management and scenario planning.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to effectively interact, convince and influence multiple stakeholders at various levels.
  • Able to balance/challenge conflicting objectives, find compromises.       
  • Ability to manage multinational, virtual Team and perform in dynamic environment.
