Vitaflo RSA Specialist contributes to compliant labelling and product related communications, gives input to business & technical in Local I&R projects and builds relations with authorities and associations, to support Vitaflo portfolios
(Vitaflo, Comidamed & Mevalia) across MENA Market.
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
"Regulatory & Compliance
- Registrations / Renewal / Variation Requests.
- Product Compliance Check: Internal versus Nestle GI’s and External compliance to make sure that the product is in harmony with the vertical and horizontal regulations (Validation#3 review and approval).
- RSA risk assessment at early stages of I&R pipeline in coordination with Global R&D & RA.
- Quality Support: Local and limit confirmation, Halal Compliance (Nestle Halal GI, Local Halal Certification body. verification), Shelf life and stability study verification versus local requirements. And mange shelf-life change request. (extension/reduction) and manage its implication on registration.
- Supply Chain Support: Shipping documents verification, technical shipping requirements (data loggers, cold chain). "
"Labelling
- Label (EML or finished) Validation (Content / Claims) and Country-Specific info e.g. Reg. # or Importer details - (in coordination with Comm. Ops).
- Label Adaptation in coordination with T&D, marketing and agencies.
- Harmonization of labels across multiple countries & regions (in coordination with Global RA, T&D, Comm. Ops & Quality) to help in TDC reduction.
- Implementation of the new Vitaflo local overlabelling policy."
"Advocacy and Lobbying
- Proactive engagement with regulatory authorities & decision-makers to harmonize / challenge standards & new regulations in MENA. and simplification of registration process.
- Active participation in industry associations and horizon scanning for potential changes to regulations in the region for early notification to Vitaflo Global RA team.
- Monitor, analyze & report new / change of local regulations across the 19 countries of MENA. and strategy to cope with the changes (specifically against pain points in collaboration with the Vitaflo Global RA team.
- • Risk Management: Develop a comprehensive risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate regulatory risks."
What will make you successful…
- Minimum 2 years Nestlé experience in a regulatory team or in close contact with regulatory environment or equivalent experience outside Nestlé in a regulatory team ( food association, industry or governmental authorities).
- Applied knowledge in at least one of the regulatory related topics such as food safety, consumer information, nutrition & health, additives, or quality.
- Knowledge and experience in nutrition, science, raw material and finished products applied to regulatory environment.
- Successful completion of the functional RSA curriculum up to the specialist level and proven implementation of learning through on-the-job application."
