**Tax Compliance & Documentation Associate**

The Product Compliance & Documentation Officer is responsible for receiving, reviewing, and verifying product documentation for beverage products to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements before submission for market approval. The role serves as the key link between suppliers/product owners and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and organize documentation for beverage products, including product declaration forms, methods of preparation, ingredient lists, tax certificates, trade licenses, and related certificates.
  • Review and verify each document for accuracy, completeness, validity, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Identify missing, expired, or inconsistent documents and follow up with relevant stakeholders to obtain corrections.
  • Upload verified documentation to the Authorities’ portal (or relevant regulatory system) for approval and product release to market.
  • Track submission status and coordinate with authorities to resolve queries or rejections.
  • Maintain an organized digital filing system for all product records.
  • Keep up to date with regulatory changes affecting product registration and labeling.
  • Prepare reports on submission status, approvals, and pending actions.

 

Skill Set

  • Bachelor's degree with ( 0-1 Experience ) .
  • Prior experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, quality assurance, or documentation control (beverage/food/FMCG industry preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing technical and legal documents.
  • Familiarity with regulatory portals and document submission processes (experience with MoIAT is an advantage).
  • Good understanding of food/beverage labeling, ingredients, and certification requirements.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PDF handling) and document management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for coordinating with Markets and Authorities. (In English & Arabic)
  • Ability to manage multiple submissions and meet deadlines.
  • Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive documents.
