This is part-time position working 30 hours per week.  
Schedule: Monday – Friday from 6am – Noon.  
In addition, flexibility to cover vacation time will be required.

What to Expect: 

In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the flow of information & documentation and provide support to the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure accurate shipping and receiving. 

A day in the life:

  • Defines priorities and resource allocation and adjusts priorities to ensure execution of dock schedule.         
  • Responsible for opening Facility, including securing of all exterior doors in the warehouse and office areas, as well as setting of all security alarms. Closing of the Facility will be required during vacation coverage.
  • Stages all work activity for operators and ensures consistent work flow to execute dock priorities.
  • Reconciles all completed work activity in SAP as deliveries are picked, staged, loaded, and delivered.
  • Verifies, prepares and identifies discrepancies for all shipping and receiving documentation in SAP, dock schedule execution, quality of shipments, order integrity.
  • Ensures appropriate standards are met when preparing pallet notes and entering the information into the pallet control system and checking the accuracy of documents.
  • Prepares all picking transfer orders, and full unit load transfer orders.
  • Stages all deliveries in advance for Operators to execute.
  • Provides administrative support to the warehouse by maintaining, preparing and processing sales orders accurately.
  • Provides support to operators by resolving SAP issues and ensuring consistency of work flow.
  • Takes initiative and exercises timely and good judgment in day-to-day business decisions.
  • Collaborates closely with operation planning, transportation and customer service departments.
  • Responsible for maintaining compliance of drivers, operators, PPE, GMP policies, and Nestlé’s quality systems.

 Role Requirements

  • Completion of College diploma in Business Administration or other related discipline
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a customer service role
  • Experience working in a warehouse in a Unionized environment would be a strong asset
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail with strong initiative, customer service focused attributes
  • Excellent prioritization and communication skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power point required
  • Good computer skills, experience in SAP preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • This role may require additional responsibilities to support evolving business needs. Flexibility, including the ability to work occasional overtime, is expected.
