Circa £24,000 depending on experience + additional benefits/ Level 2

Position Summary

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic person to join our Planning Team as Event Coordinator.

Our Wisbech factory makes some of the UK’s most well known and much loved brands, such as Felix, Winalot, Gourmet, and Purina ONE, and is constantly developing to meet the changing needs of our consumers. A day in the life of...

Reporting to the Operations Planning Manager, your role will be to drive and manage all Events / Projects (e.g. launches and re-launches, sourcing changes, product discontinuations, and promotional activities) for Wisbech, in order to ensure supply, meet launch date and minimise write offs.

This includes:

  • Initiate SADs (Sourcing Approval Documents) as per business needs
  • Planning Master Data settings (Transportation Lane, Minimum / Maximum Stock Cover, Stacking Factor, Production and SNP Planner IDs etc.)
  • Ensure requirements are correctly cascaded down to the factory and the co-packer
  • Drive trials where applicable 
  • Highlight any risks related to the Events / Projects to the relevant parties incl. Operations Planning Manager and define contingencies
  • Participate in and/or coordinate continuous improvement projects

What Will Make You Successful?

We are looking for a highly motivated person with the following skills:

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to challenge in order to minimise write off costs.
  • SAP / APO experience preferred
  • Project Management experience preferred

You may come from an event management background or operational planning role.
