1st Year Apprentice fitter & turner (mechanical engineering)

Nestle Australia Limited are currently seeking to appoint two 1st Year Apprentice Fitter & Turner (Mechanical Engineering) to join the team at our Campbellfield factory. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established company and gain valuable hands-on experience in a supportive and inclusive environment.
With the support of our qualified trade’s team the main duties of the position will include:
- Learning techniques around fault analysis and participating in teams working on preventative maintenance and asset intensity improvements
- Attending schooling one day per week to become a qualified Fitter and Turner (Certificate IIII in Engineering - Mechanical Trade)
- Executing planned maintenance schedules
- Supporting the engineering team in providing planned and unplanned maintenance support on all production lines
- Attending to breakdowns, performing breakdown analysis and minimising the impact of breakdowns on the production lines
