A day in the life…
Responsibilities include maintaining product quality, achieving production targets and maintaining a high standard of GMP. Main duties of the position:
- Manufacturing high quality product through adherence to standards and preserving Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Operating and meticulously cleaning, inspecting and caring for production equipment
- Achieving production plans and objectives on a daily basis including coordinating planned product changes
- Continuous improvement, root cause analysis and problem solving in manufacturing and packaging processes
- Achieving all of the above whilst adhering to safety, quality and environmental standards; and demonstrating exemplary behaviours in all areas
- Other duties as required by the Line Manager

- Pride in your work and demonstrated diligence
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and meticulousness when it comes to quality, cleanliness and processes
- Proven basic mathematical and mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills
- Proven time management skills and proactivity, especially when managing competing interests
- Demonstrated ability to work cohesively and unsupervised in a high performing team environment
- A continuous improvement mindset, and willingness to learn and share knowledge
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with various audiences
- The initiative and courage to speak out when correction is required
- Demonstrated ability to carry out safe manual handling as required
- Computer literacy (i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or chocolate and/or food manufacturing environment is desirable

- You may be required to work overtime during the week and on weekends, paid on penalty rates
