POSITION SUMMARY

Joining Nestlé’s Campbellfield factory, the Production Manager is responsible for maintaining standards, achieving production plans within agreed costs, driving continuous improvement and the management and development of people.

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE…

 

Reporting to the Factory Manager, key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Responsible for all aspects of the execution of the Food Safety Management System, you will have knowledge of Food Safety requirements and the implementation of compliance measures relevant to production, and across the broader manufacturing environment.
  • Delivering on our commitment to safety in our workplace, you will champion the behavioural, procedural and equipment standards to provide a safe work environment.
  • Lead and manage individuals and teams to execute manufacturing processes safely, to quality standards and cost effectively.
  • Drive improvement initiatives to favourably impact our competitiveness against internal and external benchmarks.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory authorities & the Company’s Health, Safety & Environment systems, policies & procedures, including TGA certification requirements.
  • Plan, execute and monitor a significant budget of operations.

 

ARE YOU A FIT?

 

  • Joining a collaborative team, you will be a leader with successful experience of managing a large team (in excess of 100 employees).
  • Proven track records in delivering results and leading others for achieving challenging objectives.
  • Ideally you will be Tertiary qualified with a degree in Engineering, Food Science/Food Technology or in a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in different manufacturing operations, ideally within FMCG or Food Manufacturing industry.
  • Successful in leading projects across different departments or functions. 
  • Exposure to implementing continuous improvement and employee involvement techniques. Implementation experience of TPM/Lean.

 

Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and have Permanent Residency.
