POSITION SUMMARY 

Lead the end-to-end Supply Chain operations across the North West Africa Cluster to deliver both top-line growth and bottom-line performance targets by ensuring efficient, seamless, and resilient operations. The role is responsible for driving operational excellence across planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, customer service, and distribution while ensuring alignment with cluster business objectives and global Supply Chain priorities. As a key member of the Cluster Management Committee (MANCOM), the Supply Chain Cluster Head collaborates closely with Cluster leadership teams and Head Office functional leaders to translate business strategy into operational execution, identify productivity opportunities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the value chain.

The position also requires strong external stakeholder management, partnering with customers, contract manufacturers, logistics service providers, and other strategic partners to enhance service levels, optimize costs, improve operational efficiency, and support sustainable business growth.

In partnership with the Head Office Supply Chain leadership team, the role is accountable for building organizational capability across the cluster by coaching, mentoring, and developing Supply Chain talent, strengthening succession pipelines, and fostering a high-performance culture.

A DAY IN THE LIFE … 

·  He/She will be responsible for driving the cascaded MENA SC strategy and orchestrating the consolidated tactical and operational activities in conjunction with the cluster agenda, along with the Cluster MANCOM, to deliver top- and bottom-line targets.

·  As a member of the MENA Supply Chain Leadership Team, he/she will strongly support the establishment of key functional priorities in line with business objectives and customize and cascade these down to the cluster.

·  He/She will also have responsibility for building SC capability within the SC community across MENA, coaching and developing talent, and contributing to succession planning along with the Function Head from the SCLT.

·  As a senior MANCOM and SCLT member, the role will also drive the Caring Leadership agenda for Safety & Health for people across the cluster geographical scope as well as across MENA.

·  Responsible for running a smooth and efficient operation, driving a customer-centric mindset within the cluster across all SC E2E functions (CFSC, VMI, CMI, Logistics, Import-Export (except UAE), Clearance, and Co-Man support), and ensuring best-in-class customer service.

·  Drive the reduction of TDC and Cost of Distribution (Logistics Call to Arms) by launching new initiatives across the cluster in warehousing, importation, and secondary network distribution.

·  Lead, develop, and accelerate Supply Chain customer focus, increasing collaboration opportunities and customer perception to become the leader in the industry.

·  Support Technical and Procurement in identifying and developing local sourcing opportunities.

·  Contribute to Procurement and DSP by providing inputs on stock cover policy and availability risk mitigation.

·  He/She is a key decision-maker and approver of exceptions to agreed stock cover levels at trade. He/She has full responsibility for Finished Goods inventory and stock cover versus target at Nestlé, as well as full responsibility for ensuring freshness and reducing bad goods risks.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL…

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree is an advantage.
• 12–15+ years of progressive Supply Chain experience, including leadership roles within FMCG, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, or related industries.
• Proven experience leading multi-functional and multi-country Supply Chain operations.
• Strong customer focus with the ability to build effective internal and external partnerships.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively at executive level.
• Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to balance service, cost, inventory, and growth objectives

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Must have excellent communication skills (credible influencing & persuasion)
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
