Position Summary:

You will build production plans respecting the agreed level of available capacity to ensure that finished and semi-finished goods are available with high freshness, at the right stock location to meet customer demand whilst minimizing cost

 

A Day in The Life …

  • Establishe an 18-month production plan for the factories within their responsibility (including sub/contracting factories where within scope of role)
  • Create a feasible production plan that respects capacity defined (available capacity) Establish Committed Capacity, including timing proposals for plant shutdowns, investments etc.
  • Provide information on labor requirements through Committed Capacity
  • Identify possible opportunities and improvements in collaboration with the factory within the 18-month horizon.
  • Contribute to cross functional planning activities such as MPR according to Best Practice.
  • Actively support the Strategic Volume Planning process (i.e. Capex Planning)

 

What will make you successful…

  • Master’s degree in supply chain management.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant operational experience at market/business level.
  • Experience in the following processes would be highly beneficial:
    • Product lifecycle process
    • Factory Master Data management  
    • CAPEX
    • Strategic Planning/MBS
