The role covers project controls, project schedules, cost estimates, installation, testing and commissioning of new equipment and production lines, while monitoring progress, resolving operational issues and mobilising the resources needed to deliver the project.
Within the Filling & Packing area, it ensures that line design, equipment integration, operational line performance, sterilization-process requirements, validation protocols, pressurized vessel, digital integration requirements and interfaces with AGV solutions are embedded from design through commissioning and ramp-up.

A Day in the Life of a Project Leader Filling & Retorts:
Before project design phase:
- Support the Project Engineering Manager and End-to-End Project Manager in developing the investment project charter and ensure it is strictly followed throughout the project.
- Prepare project controls, timing assumptions, cost estimates and technical design inputs for the Filling & Packing scope.
- Define technical requirements for the machines in the Filling & Packing area and collect the resources necessary to execute the project within scope.

During project design phase:
- Execute the basic and detailed design of the Filling & Packing scope based on Nestlé Corporate Business Principles, Nestlé standards, local regulations, URS and TPM characteristics (safety, quality, affordability, maintainability, operability and reliability).
- Develop line URS and ensure alignment with equipment integration, packaging quality, performance criteria, operability requirements, and the technical requirements related to Filling & Packing machines.
- Ensure that validation protocols, local requirements for pressurized vessels, and relevant AGV integration interfaces are considered where applicable, and that success criteria are correctly defined for FAT, SAT, start-up documentation and line acceptance.

During project implementation phase:
- Ensure that filling and packing equipment are implemented in accordance with timing, cost, quality, URS and line requirements, including applicable sterilization-process and pressurized-vessel compliance requirements.
- Coordinate suppliers/contractors, technical reviews, FAT, SAT, action plans and risk analysis for the Filling & Packing area.
- Ensure all suppliers are trained on SHE and that machinery safety checks, validation readiness and line readiness are guaranteed during installation and commissioning.

During start-up and the whole project life:
- Support the Operations / Start-Up Leader to ensure a smooth transition to operations after commissioning and during line start-up / ramp-up, including readiness of validation protocols, sterilization-related requirements, robustness of product orders propagation through DMO, and operational stability of any relevant AGV-integrated production-line interfaces.
- Lead follow-up of line issues, documentation, budget/timing/risk tracking and escalate immediately to PEM / E2E when scope, cost, timing or line performance are at risk.
- Deliver technical reporting, PDA / lessons learned and promote sustainable, environmentally friendly solutions.

What will make you successful?
•    Experience delivering one or more projects successfully in filling / packing technology areas.
•    Experience proactively applying SHE requirements and risk-prevention methods to foster a zero-harm workplace and protect people and equipment.
•    Experience with FAT / SAT and start-up activities on filling and packing lines.
•    Experience with financial follow-up, budget tracking and project reporting.
•    Participation in advanced Project Management training is a plus.
•    Experience with HFFS machines, checkweighers, automatized pick-and-place solutions, or comparable filling and packing technologies is strongly preferred.
•    Experience with sterilization processes, including exposure to validation protocols and local requirements related to pressurized vessels, is an advantage.
•    Experience with production-line integration that includes basic understanding of AGV interfaces is an advantage.
•    Strong operational understanding of manufacturing execution and product orders propagation through DMO is a key asset for the role.
