POSITION SUMMARY: 
Ensure that the products produced and packaged in the facility meet all required specifications. Actively support the implementation of the Nestle Quality Management System (QMS), Food Safety Management System (FSMS), Safety Management System (SMS), and Environmental Management System (EMS) in the manufacturing facility. Always demonstrate safe, quality, and environment behaviors in the workplace.
OPERATIONAL TASKS:
•Help ensure top quality for all products through QMS, GMP and PRP program monitoring.
•Use and calibration of laboratory equipment for product testing according to approved laboratory methods to ensure product specifications are met.
•Computer skills (MS Word and Excel, GLOBE SAP and AS400) for line monitoring, holds, and blend sheets. 
•Responsible for adhering to food safety and quality system requirements by committing to meet all pertinent regulatory, customer and FSSC requirements
•Ensure data integrity of all logs, inspection forms, records and documents (written and electronic).
•Effectively report and communicate quality issues.
•Suggest ideas to improve job and work areas.
•Must be able to work well with minimal supervision. 
•Able to work other shifts as needed. 
•Other duties assigned. 
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
•High School Graduate or GED is preferred but not required
EXPERIENCE:
•Preferably some manufacturing experience in food industry.
•Knowledge of continuous improvement.
SKILLS: 
•Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
•Strong attention to detail.
•Must be able to handle multiple assignments.
•Must be precise and accurate, well-organized worker.
•Must be able to perform in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
•Good mathematical skills.
•Proficiency with computer systems, personal computers, Microsoft Office (MS Word and Excel etc.) and mainframe system with custom applications (i.e. SAP and AS400).
