POSITION SUMMARY:

We’re looking for a Senior Social Content Creator to join our freshly assembled creative experiment. The ideal multi-talented someone is deeply tuned into culture and trends. Social is their natural habitat. They’re dialed into all the platforms, formats and content types, but especially Tik Tok and IG Reels. They’re conceptual, strategic, prolific, proactive, and production savvy - able to shoot, edit, maybe design, and make stuff. They’ll report to the Head of Production and work alongside a truly lovely motivated team of industry leading creative professionals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create social content of all shapes and sizes, and all mediums. Motion, animation, still photography included.  
• Collaborate and communicate with creative and social friends to power our social feeds.
• Oversee the production of short / medium form content from beginning to end - filming, photographing, lighting, editing, sound design, distribution, all the things.  
• Concept and create from an agreed upon strategy always with the brand in focus.
• Have a strong understanding of all the platforms - Tik Tok, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and whatever comes next.
• Be ahead of trends, dialed into culture, and able to look into the future in order to help bring the fresh stuff to our social feeds – again, always with an eye on what’s right for the brand.
• Create engaging motion graphics and animations to elevate video content.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years of creative and production experience proven experience as a stills and video content creator for major brands.
• A Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Technically proficient in social media platforms and their unique video requirements and editing tools.  
• Proficient in at least one video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DeVinci Resolve, etc.) and a mastery of at least one motion graphics tool (After Effects, Fusion, Blender etc.).  
• A history of multitasking, juggling, and making social stuff at a fast but not unreasonable pace.

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Chicago, IL.

The approximate pay range for this position is $85,000 to $110,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
