Position Summary
S/He oversees the bond between the IT & business Consumers and Customers. As part of the Product team within Local BRM / Regional / Global Product Group Team, the Expert Business Systems overall ensures a deep understanding of opportunities and issues facing business functions and advises on the best system solutions.
S/He translates business strategies, opportunities, threats and needs into IT product requirements and plays a key role within the Product Team to specify, test and deploy those as IT solutions.
A day in the life of...
- Contribution to IT Strategy - under the supervision and guidance of her/his primary Community of Practice Lead and ensures that the Product/Product Group Managers, Regional Leads and Business Relationship Manager are supported in the development of the strategy through incremental improvement of the product.
- Identify the appropriate applications to meet business requirements.
- Provides specialist consultancy, guidance and support in specific technology based on subject expertise
- Provides recommendations on how to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and delivery of services using technology
- Understands technology trends and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models
- Assists with designing the governance, assurance and standards activities associated with ensuring enterprise technology architecture compliance
- Liaises closely with suppliers, defining significant functional, technical and process integration decisions
What will make you successful
- Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent
- 3+ years of relevant experience of business analysis in a relevant functional area
- Experience in business needs like O2C Order to Cash/SD, Order Management, Demand Management (ATP), Pricing, Sales Integration, Ecommerce
- Project management experience
- Extensive business experience in a relevant function is beneficial
- Strong experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment using design thinking methodology
- Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
- Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams
- Excellent solution integration knowledge
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solution.
- Experience developing technical POCs to prove out business outcomes
- Perform facilitation and training of the platforms in easy to understand method while tying in the business functionality processes
- Ability to generate and test new ideas for economic viability and technical feasibility
