Position Summary

The Change and Transformation Lead is a multifaceted role that interfaces with various stakeholders across the organization. Incumben is responsible for embedding organizational change management practices related to ongoing transformative change within the organization. This role is responsible for leading, directing, coordinating and providing visibility into the organization's change management efforts. The role also ensures that IS/IT Employees change their ways of working and properly adopt the Culture, Priorities and Behaviors according to the organizational strategy. The candidate needs to have significant experience in creating change management strategies that maximize organizational transformation (cultural, behavioral, experiential). Responsible for integrating with NBE Communications to ensure that communications strategies and messages are defined and executed to support the change and transformation efforts and that such communications are aligned with organizational strategy, effective, and impactful.

A day in the life of...

Contribution to IS/IT Strategy - under the supervision and guidance of Office of CIO and Workforce Planning, Management and Transformation 
• Employs a structured change management methodology to create conditions for a smooth transition to change and promote the maximum enthusiasm to adapt to the change
• Oversees the change by assessing the magnitude of change and the organization's change readiness. 
• Promotes the vision with a benefit framework that links adoption to change to successful value delivery and business outcome
• Creates tailored change management plans with respect to training and orientation to accommodate the needs of different stakeholder groups impacted by the change
• Leads (where one is agreed on and needed) the establishment of a community of change agents and/or evangelists to put a face on change, and leverages trusted informal leaders to create understanding among employees
Applies communication management best practice to define communication intent and objectives per target audience.

Operational effectiveness and efficiency
• Ensures communication, training and coaching throughout the organizational tranformation & adjusting to ongoing situation.
• Conducts thorough methodological investigations to identify key stakeholders impacted by the change and when the timing of that change will be.
• Oversees all events that impact employees, and regularly review ongoing changes to create a heat map to identify too much change and potential change fatigue.
• Solicit feedback to assess the success of the change management activities and behavior changes so that they align with strategic objectives
• Leads the development and maintenance of stakeholder communication mapping and segmentation for tranformational initiatives
• Executes the communication modalities (official sales material on the intranet, advertising videos on screens in lobbies, social media Q&A, etc.), including creation / design, validation and logistics of the messages and modalities or secure the proper execution by external partners:
 - Develops clear and compelling ideas or positions in a persuasive, visual and sharp manner that builds support, interest, awareness or commitment for the organization
 - Manages communication frequencies and campaigns.

Stakeholder engagement
• Creates a communication plan or roadmap to ensure all employees are fully aware of the impending changes.
• Ensures ongoing coaching and mentoring around good change management practices to all levels of leadership to increase their effectiveness in driving sustainable change.
• Facilitates the HRs/workforce to create mechanisms to demotivate old behaviors and incentivize the desired ones. This may involve redesigning jobs and defining behavioral competencies and performance metrics.


• Defines the principles which will guide communication and the priorities.
• Defines the key communication channels.
• With the help of NBE Communications, defines the monitoring and feedback process to modify and amend the communication management strategy and plan
• Periodically refreshes all in order to keep audiences “on their toes” and maximize impacts

What will make you successful

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Business Sociology or related field, or equivalent work experience. 
• 7+ years of experience in a Change Management, Organizational Transformation, Strategic Communication or closely related role or equivalent education
• Track record of successful organizational change management with achieving identified strategic business objectives and benefits
• Good working knowledge of industry-standard program management methodologies and product life cycles
• Organizational development, change management training and certification is desirable
• Expertise in setting and managing stakeholder expectations and milestones
• Exceptional written and visual communication skills
• Has working knowledge of information technology and business
• Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
• Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams.
