Position Summary

This position will support the Azure platform and develop pipelines, SQL tables updates and creation and activities in the Cloud environment.

Working on projects using Azure technologies such as Snowflakes, Data Lake, Data Bricks, SQL DW, Logic Apps, and Power BI to support all business streams.
Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Big Data platforms using Azure Cloud architecture with structured and unstructured data sources.
Connecting and automating data sources, along with building visualizations.
Configuring, connecting, and setting up the infrastructure.
Developing, maintaining, and testing existing solutions.

Good communication skills, team work and documentation to constantly review and align with team members.

1. What technical experience is required?

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study

2+ years of experience developing and deploying production ready business analytics platforms
Experience designing, developing, and implementing big data platforms using the Azure Cloud Platform and associated services
Experience in designing, developing, and deploying data aggregation techniques to abstract structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from various external / internal sources
Experience with big data file systems (ie: SQL Data Warehouse)

1. What technical experience is a nice to have?
1+ years experience in other cloud-based solutions and associated technology, such as AWS, GCP, OpenStack, CloudStack, IBM Cloud, or Adobe Cloud
Experience with Power BI
Experience in developing in advanced analytics tools and languages( ie: R, Python, Scala, Java, or C#)
Knowledge of data modeling, database modeling and integration, advanced / automated SQL query development, as well as applying the concept of data analytics as a business concept
Experience managing or leading teams
