Position Summary

S/He oversees the bond between the IT & business Consumers and Customers. As part of the Product team within Local BRM / Regional / Global Product Group Team, the Expert Business Systems overall ensures a deep understanding of  opportunities and issues facing business functions and advises on the best system  solutions.
S/He translates business strategies, opportunities, threats and  needs into IT product requirements and plays a key role within the Product Team to specify, test and deploy those as IT solutions.

A day in the life of...

Contribution to IT Strategy - under the supervision and guidance of her/his primary Community of Practice Lead and 
• Ensures that the Product/Product Group Managers, Regional Leads and Business Relationship Manager are supported in the development of the strategy through incremental improvement of the product.
•Identify the appropriate applications to meet business requirements.​
•Experience using web development tools
•Provides specialist consultancy, guidance and support in specific technology based on subject​
expertise​
•Provides recommendations on how to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and delivery of services using technology​
•Understands technology trends and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models​
•Assists with designing the governance, assurance and standards activities associated with ensuring enterprise technology architecture compliance​
Liaises closely with suppliers, defining significant functional, technical and process integration decisions​.

Operational Effectiveness and Efficiency
• Secures that program development, logic, process flows and specifications are analyzed, documented and tested
• Ensures the training materials for the Product Group area are documented
• Oversees the delivery of training to the end users, deployment and support teams
• Supports the analysis and resolution of solution issues as part of the third level sustain
• Facilitates business scenarios and use cases for the product mix, including product introduction, specification and the change management required to maximize its adoption/value
• Consults with product manager to define the minimum viable product (MVP) that satisfies the business need
• Ensures that near-term needs are assessed by using structured interview processes and consumer research methods to understand opportunities and help business establish priorities.

Virtual team Coaching
• Coaches, motivates and directs staff belonging to various organizations (business and IT) to understand the business needs and find the best solution that will both align with the customer objectives and the IT strategy.

Security, Compliance & Risk Management
• Is accountable for the identification of security & compliance requirements, including roles, associated with the business process and responsible for their consideration in the solution design.

Stakeholder Engagement
• Partners with business and IT to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements, pain points or opportunities into IT requirements
• Partners with the BRM and Product Group Manager to facilitate both strategy and innovation planning with business stakeholders
• Consults with Product Group teams and proposes alternative solutions. Oversees the advisory on options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impact on other business processes and product priorities.

What will make you successful

• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent; M.B.A. preferred
• 8+ years of relevant experience of business analysis in a relevant functional area
• Extensive project management experience
• Extensive business experience in a relevant function is beneficial
• Strong experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment using design thinking methodology
• Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
• Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams
• Excellent solution integration knowledge​
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solution.​
• Experience developing technical POCs to prove out business outcomes​
• Perform facilitation and training of the platforms in easy to understand method while tying in the business functionality processes
• Ability to generate and test new ideas for economic viability and technical feasibility.
