The role: 

The Expert Solution Architect will designs end-to-end IT solutions at initiative level for Nestlé, bringing deep technical expertise across modern software engineering and Generative AI to deliver pragmatic, future-ready architectures.

What you’ll do:

As an Expert Solution Architect you will:

• Designs end-to-end solution architectures (HLD/LLD) for assigned initiatives, applying advanced expertise across application, integration, data and security layers.
• Translates complex business problems and product requirements into modular, cloud-native solutions aligned with Nestlé reference architectures and standards.
• Applies Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities to solutions, in alignment with Nestlé Responsible AI principles.
• Reviews and challenges designs proposed by hyperscaler partners (Azure/AWS/GCP) and Systems Integrators on assigned initiatives.
• Documents architecture decisions and trade-offs; presents them with clarity to product teams, technical peers and business stakeholders within the scope of the initiative.

What will make you a great fit?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in IT solution and software architecture, including enterprise-scale programs.
• Proven expertise designing and managing cloud-native solutions on at least one hyperscaler (Azure, AWS or GCP); cross-cloud knowledge is a plus.
• Strong software engineering background across multiple programming languages and platforms (Java, .NET, Python, Node.js) and modern frontend frameworks.
• Advanced understanding of cloud-native architecture, microservices, event-driven design and API-led integration principles (MuleSoft, Kafka, iPaaS, API Management).
• Hands-on experience designing solutions that leverage Generative AI / Agentic AI, MLOps and modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake).
• Solid command of architecture governance, standards and frameworks (TOGAF or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience leading or shaping innovation initiatives from emerging tech evaluation to pilot to scale.
