To strengthen our LATAM IT HUB in Mexico, we are looking for a S/IT Operations Specialist Junior to delivery of operational activities and coordination of Data Center/Computer rooms and Facilities infrastructure. Reporting to the Manager Systems Infrastructure you will be contributing to support to assess and drive Facilities critical infrastructure implementations and improvements in availability of Remote Site Computer Rooms

 

Key responsibilities

 

• Execute the Compliance KPIs Dashboard ensuring ISMS health, providing support to all activities related to Controls, Findings, Remediation plans and Metrics.

• Ensure the delivery of Planning and execution of IT FACILITIES CAPEX: like alignment with Market IT FRM/finance/procurement areas, check point controls, status reports, escalations and etc.

• Ensure the Planning and execution of IT FACILITIES OPEX: alignment with finance/procurement areas, check point controls, status reports, etc.

• Execute elaboration and negotiation of RFP’s for preventive/corrective maintenance contracts on IT FACILITIES equipment.

• Execute Purchase Orders coordination with Markets (creation request, follow-up, budget)

• Support IS/IT strategic service partners provide the required level of service, system performance and functionality required to meet business commitments

• Support the relationship with suppliers for on-going daily operation and Markets.

• Support Planning and coordination of yearly obsolescence replacement in all sites.

 

Required Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in business (IT management), engineering or IT

•  2+ years of experience supporting prevent maintenance to mission-critical data center / computer room infrastructure (Diesel Generators, UPS, HVAC, Fire Suppression, Access Control, Copper/Fiber Cabling Technologies, etc.)

•  2+ years of Data Center / Computer Room Assessment, Design and project management experience 

•  2+ years of demonstrated experience working with Building Construction General Contractors and Low Voltage Cabling Vendors 

  • Experience with Agile Framework using Azure DevOps, Jira or related tools
  • 3+ years of Demonstrated knowledge of CAPEX / OPEX planning and execution. 
  • Experience with hybrid Datacenter environments and Datacenter infrastructure
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Apps
  • REQUIRED: experience with Orion Monitoring Tools, Building Automation Systems, and Ccure 9000 Access Control 
  • Project and Product Management knowledge
