IS/IT Senior Technology Specialist provides deep knowledge, consultancy and advisory within his/her area of specialism with respect to a particular (emerging) technology. IS/IT Senior Technology Specialist oversees the development and promotes technology which supports the business requirements within their area of expertise. S/he may be accountable for supervising specific deliverables in relation to IT development or s/he can lead the technical activity within their area of specialism.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provides deep specialist consultancy, guidance and support in their specific specialism (e.g. Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation, Machine Learning, etc. based on subject expertise)
• Coordinates technical consultancy assignments which involve specialists from various disciplines
• Oversees the technical activity (design, build, testing) in a significant or complex Innovation initiatives, accountable to the Innovation or Product Manager for the delivery and quality of technical deliverables
• Makes recommendations on how to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and delivery of services through the use of (emerging) technology and technical methods and methodologies
• Provides business with deep technical expertise, advising on best technology solutions, translating the business vision into technical vision
• Ensures IS/IT requirements are met and service quality maintained when introducing new products. Considers the cost effectiveness of proposed solutions
• Oversees the development of and/or review of standards, documentation and methods of working in the relevant area of expertise
• Coordinates preliminary studies, general systems specifications and detailed systems specifications
• Considers a broad range of options and apply sound judgment to develop solutions within their specific specialism
• Recognizes opportunities for business change and communicates them persuasively to appropriate stakeholders
• Works with Innovation Managers, Product Managers, Tech Leads and junior Technology Specialists as required and ensures any solution within their specific specialism fits with strategic and technical direction
• Assists others in resolving complex technical problems and investigating the root cause of problems and recommend smart (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, timely) solutions
• Participates in peer reviews of deliverables and carry out formal and informal reviews of technical designs, standards, documentation and/or implementations
• Provides guidance and directions also, if needed, technical support to a business or an organization's employees, mentoring and sharing technology knowledge with the teams
• Liaises closely with suppliers, for example where third party work or packages involve significant functional, technical, process, data or integration decisions
Required Profile:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in application integration, data integration and/or agile methodologies that leverage APIs.
• Proven track record of structured problem-solving experience, based on data analysis
• Experience in effective stakeholder management
• Recognized expert in at least one relevant specific technology
• Experience of successfully leading technical evaluations
• Experience of resolving technical issues, including those involving 3rd parties
• Certification or significant experience in other corresponding technical fields
• Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
• Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams
