The role:

The Senior Expert IT Solution Architect will play a critical expert-level role in designing and governing the end-to-end architecture that enables connected data, trusted integration, and future-ready capabilities across NUSA’s digital ecosystem. This role ensures a robust and scalable architecture for data flow across the ecosystem, including pipelines, integrations, storage, platforms, and enterprise data products.

The Senior Expert IT Solution Architect will enforce consistency, security, interoperability, and reuse across workstreams while ensuring all solutions align with global and zone enterprise architecture standards and integrate seamlessly within the broader Nestlé enterprise architecture. This is a key position that will partner closely with business, analytics, data product, engineering, security, architecture, and regional/global IT stakeholders to enable AI-ready, secure, and scalable solutions for emerging business needs.

What you’ll do:

As a Senior Expert IT Solution Architect you will:

Lead the definition and evolution of enterprise solution architecture for NUSA Data Fabric capabilities, ensuring alignment with business priorities, product roadmaps, global and zone enterprise architecture standards, and long-term technology strategy.
Design scalable, secure, and interoperable data flow architectures across ingestion pipelines, integrations, transformation layers, storage patterns, semantic enablement, and consumption channels.
Establish and govern reference architectures, integration patterns, standards, and reusable design principles that accelerate delivery while reducing complexity, duplication, and technical risk.
Partner with data product teams, platform engineering, IT, security, and architecture stakeholders to ensure solution designs integrate seamlessly across cloud platforms, enterprise applications, analytics tools, and data governance capabilities.
Review and influence solution designs across workstreams to ensure consistency with enterprise architecture standards, data security requirements, privacy expectations, performance needs, and operational resiliency.
Guide teams in designing reliable data pipelines, integrations, and connected data capabilities that support business intelligence, advanced analytics, AI/ML readiness, enterprise reporting, and scalable data product use cases.
Identify architecture dependencies, risks, and trade-offs; recommend pragmatic solution options that balance scalability, cost, delivery timelines, maintainability, and business value.
Maintain architectural artifacts including current-state and target-state diagrams, integration blueprints, data flow designs, decision records, standards, and transition roadmaps.
Represent Data Fabric architecture, capabilities, and roadmap needs in ARM and other Nestlé IT governance, planning, and architecture review processes to secure alignment, visibility, and decision support.
Evaluate emerging technologies, architecture patterns, and platform capabilities to continuously modernize the Data Fabric ecosystem and improve speed, quality, observability, and governance.
Serve as a trusted expert advisor to business and technical stakeholders, translating complex architecture concepts into clear recommendations and actionable delivery guidance.

What will make you a great fit?

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, data architecture, systems integration, or related technology roles.
Deep expertise designing end-to-end enterprise data solutions across cloud platforms, integration layers, APIs, event-driven architectures, cloud-native data services, platform optimization capabilities, and enterprise applications.
Expertise in designing scalable data solutions on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, with experience across Snowflake, Databricks, SQL, orchestration tools, integration platforms, and BI/analytics environments.
Experience architecting end-to-end data pipelines for batch, streaming, and real-time processing, including data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, monitoring, and operationalization.
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks and patterns, with experience integrating structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources across enterprise systems and analytics platforms.
Demonstrated ability to define architecture standards, reusable patterns, technical roadmaps, and governance mechanisms that enable consistent, scalable delivery across teams.
Strong knowledge of security, privacy, access management, resiliency, performance, and compliance considerations for enterprise data and analytics solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across business, IT, engineering, architecture, and leadership audiences with fluency in English.
Ability to operate as a trusted expert advisor in a key strategic position, translating complex architecture concepts into clear recommendations for both technical and executive audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and methods such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, SAFe, or cloud architecture well-architected frameworks.
Experience with AI/ML enablement patterns, feature stores, vector databases, graph databases, real-time analytics, or data product operating models.
Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Snowflake, or related architecture credentials are a plus.
