The role:
 
The Senior Specialist Technology Solutions (Analytics Platforms) will support the effective use of analytics platforms such as Power BI, Power Automate, and Databricks within the U.S. market, ensuring these platforms are reliable, performant, secure, and aligned to business needs.
 
This role provides advanced platform solutions tailored to NUSA business needs while aligning with global standards, enterprise architecture direction, and platform governance expectations. The role acts as a primary liaison between business users, analytics teams, and platform teams, helping translate business priorities into scalable platform capabilities, driving best practices, resolving complex platform and performance issues, and accelerating delivery of high-value analytics use cases.
 
 
 
What you’ll do:
 
 
 
As a Senior Specialist Technology Solutions (Analytics Platforms) you will:
 
 
 
  • Support the adoption, effective use, and continuous improvement of analytics platforms such as Power BI, Power Automate, Databricks, and related analytics enablement capabilities.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve platform reliability, performance, scalability, usability, and operational health across analytics solutions, reports, workspaces, jobs, notebooks, pipelines, and integrations.
  • Provide advanced market-specific platform solutions aligned with business needs, global standards, enterprise architecture direction, security expectations, and platform governance requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between business users, analytics teams, data engineering, and platform teams to translate business needs into actionable platform support and optimization activities.
  • Drive best practices for analytics platform usage, including workspace organization, semantic model performance, report optimization, access management, monitoring, and cost-conscious usage.
  • Resolve complex platform, reporting, data access, performance, and integration issues through root-cause analysis, remediation, and continuous improvement actions.
  • Support secure and governed analytics delivery by applying standards for access controls, data protection, auditability, data quality, lineage, documentation, and operational controls.
  • Contribute to documentation, runbooks, knowledge articles, training materials, and standard operating procedures to improve self-service adoption and reduce operational friction.

What will make you a great fit?
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Data Management, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 4+ years of experience in analytics platform engineering, BI engineering, data engineering, data platform operations, platform support, or related technology roles.
  • Hands-on experience supporting analytics platforms such as Power BI, Power Automate, Databricks, Microsoft Azure, SQL-based platforms, cloud data services, or related BI and data engineering environments.
  • Strong understanding of BI and analytics delivery patterns, including semantic models, dashboards, reporting performance, workspace management, data refreshes, access controls, and governed self-service analytics.
  • Experience supporting Databricks or similar cloud data platforms, including jobs, notebooks, compute resources, platform configurations, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, ingestion, transformation, orchestration, data quality, and structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, explain complex platform concepts clearly, and collaborate effectively with business users, analytics practitioners, data engineers, platform teams, and global IT stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English.
 
 
 
Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with Power BI administration, Power BI Premium/Fabric capacity concepts, DAX, data modeling, semantic model optimization, report performance tuning, and governed self-service BI practices.
  • Experience with Databricks capabilities such as Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Databricks SQL, notebooks, jobs, workflow orchestration, workspace governance, cluster policies, and cost/performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Git-based development, Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, monitoring, alerting, runbooks, root-cause analysis, and incident management practices.
  • Exposure to AI/ML enablement, AI-ready data foundations, feature engineering, vector search, or analytics patterns that support advanced analytics and GenAI use cases.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer, Azure Data Engineer, Databricks Data Engineer, or related analytics platform credentials are a plus.
