Sr Manager IT BRM/FRM (Regional Master Data Lead)

Main Purpose of the Job: 

 

The Sr Manager IT BRM helps business leaders shape their strategies with regard to product adoptions, thereby, properly creating and manageíng strong relationship and trust. S/He acts as the single point of contact between an organization’s senior leadership (Function, Market, GMB, CoS, etc.) and multiple IT Mater Data Product Group Managers to avoid complexity from the IT customer point of view and to provide a clear accountability for them.
SBRMs advocate product portfolio, identify needs for additional value delivery or integration between product groups, if needed in coordination with all teams across IT. Acting as a trusted advisor, a sBRM provides awareness, direction and guidance to business stakeholders to receive the best value and innovation; sBRMs develop a deep understanding of the part of the business to which they are aligned and maintain strong relationships with relevant business leaders. 

 

Key Outputs:

Strategy and advocacy
• Manages relationships between IT organization and assigned business unit(s) during the whole life cycle of the product groups and along the business own life
cycles, and Maintains Constant (timely, relevant and proactive) communication with all stakeholders
• Advocates and facilitates showcase of technology enablement opportunities to the business (inspire through innovation)
• Supports Master Data Product Managers in understanding the business strategy and context definition of new products required to support business value or for decision of product lifecycle managemet
• Ensure IT governance is established to support strategic partnership with business unit(s) in scope
• Develop a deep knowledge of the partner’s business unit(s) within IT and likewise, and build positive and trusted relationships Stakeholder Engagement, demand shapping and value delivery planning
• Consults business units to review value delivered by product groups
• Makes the link between specific business initiatives, projects or programs and IT in order to identify, forecast and deliver value (leveraging the integrated producst and services catalogue)
• Qualifies demands based on product qualification check lists or identifies opportunities based of product portfolio knowledge mapped to business capabilities in scope
• Responsible for gathering high-level business requirements and context and identifying product candidates for non standard demands
• For complex highly configurable products or for needs requiring multi product integration, facilitates discovery and scoping by mobilizing appropriate stakeholders
• Guides the business in effectively investing in (preferably) standard product groups and the innovation services
• Partner with both the business and enterprise architecture to develop and maintain multi-year value driven business capability roadmaps (Joint Technology Plan).
• Ensure business value is captured, realized, and optimized by talking value early, strong business case development, managing expectations, and identifying opportunities to further imporve value.
• Contractualizes with each Business Unit receiver a set of Msater Data Product Groups or sub-sets of one or several Product Groups, the charge of business process optimization and organizational change management
• Organise that regular feedback mechanism is in place (e.g. MOR feedback, Annual Survey and executive partners interviews and Market Head feedback) as well as learnings are shared with the Global Service Solution teams/NGBS and corresponding actions are implemented
• Coordinate the escalation and key issues by business in scope are resolved as per commitment with root cause mindset and collaboration with the operational teams
 %Security, Compliance & Risk management:
• Helps business unit(s) understand the impacts of product adoption, required security and compliance considerations and activities within business and product teams as well the required investments.
• Supports business impact analysis and risk analysis and mitigation
• Notifies business unit(s) of IT plans and changes, and their impact on business performance or plans

 

Requirements: 

Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management or related field (Experience on Supply Chain or Manufacturing is a must)
• 15+ years experience in Information Technology including program/project management and business analysis.

Experience having worked in a global environment and with global virtual teams with business and IT teams
• Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
• Preferred but not required: any of the certifications: Advanced Information Technology Infrastructure Library certification (ITIL), Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Information Technology Software Management (ITSM) and/or Six Sigma.
