The role
Join the Nestle IT North America Platform Team as a Sr Specialist Systems Infrastructure for being responsible to sustain our Linux environment and to ensure the delivery of projects related to IT.
What you’ll do
- Ensure stability and performance of Linux and AIX environments
- Manage containers using OpenShift for application deployments
- Govern Vendor relationships and monitor compliance
- Control budget and resources
- Oversee compliance, patching and lifecycle of Linux systems
Minimum qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience and Bachelor's degree in business or computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Linux Redhat
- Experience with Suse and Ubuntu
- Expertise in managing both on-premises and cloud environments
Nice to Have:
- Proficiency in AIX
- Experience with Openshift Containers
