We are currently seeking a full-time Electro-Mechanic Maintenance Technician to join our team in our manufacturing facility.

 

This person will serve as a plant maintenance worker in repairing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and maintaining various food processing and packaging equipment to determine nature and extent of repairs or alterations required. They also complete preventative maintenance assignments, respond to line and equipment calls, support building and grounds keeping needs. Additional skills should be reflected in resume and work history:

 

Schematic / drawing interpretation 
Blueprint reading. 
Electrical equipment repair, VFDs, multi-phase electric motors, and relays. 
TPM/Lean concepts focusing on continuous improvement and teamwork / creative problem solving to identify and perform equipment improvements. 
Hydraulics. 
Pneumatics. 
Mechanical repair and replacement of machine components. 
PLC logic controls, motor control logic. 

 

Qualifications:
3 or more years of previous maintenance experience 
Technical training or certifications desired. 
Demonstrated sense of urgency in completing tasks and comfort working in a high-speed production environment. 
Strong mechanical and electrical skills; PLC experience desired. 
Experience with CMMS or maintenance work order systems needed, SAP experience preferred. 
Ability to work independently or with a team and communicate effectively. 
Solid problem solving and decision making skills with the ability to coach others. 
Willingness to work internally and externally in diverse environmental conditions.

Creative problem-solving skills & logical to perform equipment improvements and enhancements to optimize production with positive contribution to all key deliverables of safety, quality, and cost. 
May require adapting to internal & external professional certification, skill development training courses per company needs
A strong commitment to continuous improvement and competent development
Demonstrate necessary skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, process controls & PLC systems
Understand how automated equipment and its components work.
Properly use mechanical and electrical tools and diagnostic tools & instruments like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and voltmeters
Understand the operating principles and function of the electrical control and power components and circuits utilized in automated equipment.
Operate, troubleshoot, and diagnose industrial circuits used in control and distribution.
Ability to be self-managed, scheduling and performing work unsupervised.
Reliable, motivated, dedicated, and committed to a team environment.
Must demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset & able to work independently without supervision
Good communication skills with operators, other trades and all plant personnel.
Ability to analyze data and make decisions/recommendations based on analysis.
Familiar with CMMS and Production Workflow/Control systems.
Ability and willingness to operate and support a positive Nestle culture and follow established values.
Ability to integrate into all parts of the operation to support the facility in achieving our goals & objectives.
Able to work in a team environment where honest communication, a positive attitude, engagement, and personal accountability are expected.
Result focus, service & detail-oriented individual who accurately records information in CAMMS system.
Able to work with computers (digital tools, Microsoft tools, navigating systems, recording information, using how to find information to perform the job)
Has positive conflict management resolution skills.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment & handle multiple tasks or maintenance calls

 

Shifts available: 2nd Shift (2:30pm-10:00pm), 3rd Shift (10:00pm-6:30am)

 

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $32.00 to $40.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
