We are currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician Apprentice to join our team in our manufacturing facility.

As an Electro-Mechanical Technician Apprentice, you’ll learn the skills necessary to become a full-time Electro-Mechanical Technician through a combination of coursework and on-the-job training. As a technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining production-related equipment and performing preventative maintenance to eliminate unplanned stoppages, increase asset intensity, and build operator technical capabilities.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
How to service and repair production-related equipment, including extensive knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, chain/belt drives, bushings/bearings/idler systems, gearboxes, pumps, valves, fasteners, seals, gaskets, mechanical fabrication, and rigging
Power distribution and lighting systems, AC/DC motors and transformers, machine and line control devices, fluid control and distribution, electronic controls and instrumentation, variable frequency drives, and basic PLC knowledge/interpretation capabilities
How to maintain and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components of production-related equipment
How to execute planned work schedules and provide technical training to Operators
YOU’RE A GOOD FIT IF YOU:
Have your high school diploma/GED
Are a creative problem solver eager to improve mechanical and electrical equipment
Have demonstratable competency in both mechanical and electrical areas
Love hands-on and practical work
Enjoy working with machinery and power tools
Are proactive and detail-oriented
Have good communication skills and are a team player, but also able to work independently

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
