We are currently seeking a full-time Material Handler Palletizer to join our team in our manufacturing facility. This role works 8 hour shifts 5 days a week.
 
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
•    Responsible for moving materials throughout the plant and staging shipping area. 
•    Responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and systems transactions.
•    Responsible for the setup, sanitation, and operation, of equipment within company established rates.
•    Responsible for daily equipment safety inspections and safe operation of powered industrial truck.
•    Palletize and stack products to multiple required configurations
•    Maintain quality control per company guidelines.
•    Perform all job duties in accordance with the company’s safety guidelines. 
•    Dispose of trash and clean work area thoroughly.
•    Complete all jobs in any area as assigned by supervisors.
•    Participation on factory teams.
•    Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications
•    Prior certification for driving forklift, electric pallet jack, and hand jack.
•    Must be a team player, willing to help in all areas. 
•    Proficient with computer use; familiar with SAP and standard Microsoft Office Software.
•    Prior exposure to manufacturing desired, preferably the food or beverage industry with knowledge of GMPs.
•    Demonstrated sense of urgency and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
•    Ability to work independently or with a team with excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with other team members.
•    Willingness and ability to work with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hold & cold).
•    Ability to work safely and multi-task in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
•    Ability to move/lift 75 lbs occasionally, basic math, and reading skills. 
•    3 months Nestle factory experience preferred.
