Position Summary

This position is responsible for leading the factory operations and sanitation efforts to sustainable high performance in alignment with the requirements of the business as defined in the Operational Master Plan.   

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

Plan organize and lead the operations team to achieve the agreed objectives (safety, environment, quality, cost and service). Proactively drive focused improvement ensuring that operations meet expected results in a sustainable way.
Ensure development of operations team through performance management, career development, succession planning and coaching. Ensure that this is reflected by other managers and supervisors within operations. 
A strong team that has the skills and competencies to perform effectively. 
Ongoing coaching and necessary training are delivered.  
Collaborate with peer managers to share best practices, liaise with Market T&P functions, R&D / Applications Groups / BEMs and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement. Build knowledge base of Nestle systems, policies and processes.

Shared Value Creation and sustainability 
Company, Market/Region and Business organization (including SBU and PTC) 
People Management tools & practices (Recruitment, Compensations, Development)

Strong understanding of Quality, SHE, Engineering Systems, Demand and Supply Planning processes and impact of the factory on the Supply Chain, and Lean Thinking and Nestlé Continuous Excellence methodologies 
Good understanding of Regulatory Affairs and other Supply Chain processes 
Ensure smooth operations by effectively managing and monitoring relations within the Employee population and Industrial Relations. Build and maintain positive community relations through active engagement. 
Ensure adherence to all Company principles and policies as well as local laws and regulations. Ensure compliance to health, food safety and regulatory requirements of all products manufactured. 

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:  
Undergraduate degree in Food Science, Engineering, Food Manufacturing or related field.  

EXPERIENCE:  
Minimum Five (5) years of production experience. 
Successful experience in leading change (new processes, start up, expansion, introduction of new system). 
Proven experience in leadership development. 

SKILLS:
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.  
Possess knowledge of factory related and overall company cost structure.
Focused, proactive, high integrity, and able to make difficult decisions.
roven leadership, management and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent judgment and analytical skills.    
Good understanding of the business and the role of the factory in it.  
Product and process mastership including knowledge of suppliers and materials. 
Strong understanding of the critical process and materials within the factory.
