Sanitation Utility
We are currently seeking a full-time Sanitation Utility to join our team in our manufacturing facility. This role works four 10-hour shifts.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for the disassembly, cleaning and sanitizing, operation, and assembly of production machines and equipment
Cleaning of equipment, tools, building needs, and implements within company established rates and guidelines.
General cleaning of factory departmental areas
Responsible for dispensing and mixing various chemicals according to company requirements for cleaning purposes.
Perform all job duties in accordance with the company’s safety and quality guidelines.
Accurately complete all required documentation and system transactions.
Properly use all personal protective gear per company guidelines.
Assure timely cleaning and sanitation of all equipment and assure absence of down time.
Dispose of trash and cleans work area thoroughly.
Remove any unused product, boxes and utensils and assure clear and clean work area.
Complete all jobs in any area as assigned by supervisors.
Participation on factory teams.
Qualifications
Prior exposure to manufacturing desired, preferably the food or beverage industry with knowledge of GMPs.
Proficient with computer use; familiar with SAP and standard Microsoft Office Software.
Demonstrated sense of urgency and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently or with a team with excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with other team members.
Willingness and ability to work with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hold & cold) as well as wet and dry environment.
Ability to work safely and multi-task in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
Ability to move/lift 50 lbs various times, basic math, and reading skills.
Three months Nestle factory experience is preferred.
Starting Pay: $20-$21.82
