POSITION SUMMARY

Our Nestlé Needs You initiative combines finely tuned classroom education, professional mentoring, and practical work experience. As a Maintenance Intern, you’ll work alongside experienced maintenance mechanics (technicians) to observe and participate in various projects with a diversity of work to build your skill set. Receive coaching from your assigned mentor who will oversee your day-to-day workload and overall progress as they help connect the dots between your technical education and executing work on the factory floor.
 

  • Offer mechanical support for the safe installation, assembly, and repair of machines, safety systems, mechanical drive mechanisms, and associated parts.
  • Provide support for fabrication of various metals and welding (mig, tig, AC/DC, torch, brazing, etc).
  • Support corporate and division Engineering and IT personnel with maintenance and installation of plant and corporate initiatives.
  • Adhere to all Safety and NPPC manufacturing systems guidelines.

 

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Willingness to enroll into full-time a technical program full-time.

 

Other

  • Must be able to work at least 16 hours per week as an intern.

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $24.03 an hour. The pay progression plan once you complete the program follows: Maintenance Rate C $38.15, Maintenance Rate B $41.17, and Maintenance Rate A $43.16. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
