POSITION SUMMARY

 

As a Maintenance Millfitter Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance of all plant systems. Our maintenance work includes both predictive and preventative maintenance. Always working in a safe manner, you will play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements across the plant.

 

  • Create a good understanding of plant equipment, procedures, material flow, etc.
  • Diagnose mechanical reasons for failure
  • Breakdown, assess, and rebuild gear reducers and pumps
  • Perform Arc, Tig, and Mig welding procedures
  • Layout, fabricate, and install all types of spouts, hoppers, transitions, and mechanical guards
  • Follow plant safety practices
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair screw conveyors, belt conveyors, lift leap and pneumatic conveyance system
  • Work with vendors to improve plant maintenance practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years maintenance experience in industrial maintenance, military or related environment

 

Other

  • Must be willing to work off shifts and overtime as needed

 

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $38.15 an hour for Maintenance C rate. The pay progression plan follows: Maintenance B $41.17, Maintenance A $43.16. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
