Position Summary

 

Clinton, IA has been home to one of our factories since 1969 – a proud producer of Pro Plan®, Purina ONE Beyond®, Purina Veterinary Diets®, Beggin®, T-Bonz® and Whisker Lickins® among other varieties. At Nestlé Purina PetCare, we’re a “safety first” culture, driven by a zero accident, zero defect, zero waste mentality. As Sr. Technician Factory Quality, you will conduct routine audits of the facility and outside storage facilities including food safety and the warehouse. You will also maintain inventory levels of all pesticides, maintain pesticide usage records, and understand the written meaning of all pesticide labels. You will also handle foreign material investigations on the floor while documenting the source and how to resolve it.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage the factory’s integrated pest management program in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Develop, implement, maintain, and administer the factory sanitation programs to ensure that all products are manufactured in a sanitary environment
  • Coordinate training and development of employees for all factory food safety programs
  • Manage chemical supplies and sanitation services including, waste removal, custodian, yards, and grounds


Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ years of working in food safety, pest control, industrial sanitation in a manufacturing, industrial or related environment
