POSITION SUMMARY

 

As a Production Supervisor you will foster and engage a culture of standards that promotes safe, quality behaviors. This role is responsible for coaching and developing a team of Technicians on equipment performance and career development. Additionally, this role will be accountable for achieving performance goals in their area of responsibility.

 

  • Monitors and ensures development of team through progression plan adherence.
  • Oversees performance of team including coaching, issuing corrective actions, recognizing associates, recommending promotions, and monitoring full associate life cycle.
  • Coach and develop staff on continuous improvement efforts, TPM, and leadership skills.
  • Collaborates with cross functional factory leadership team to ensure end-to-end performance successes.
  • Coordinates work schedules, overtime, and Permits to Work.
  • Utilizes problem solving skills and tools to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Leads projects focused on performance improvement, factory goals, and personal development.
  • Sponsors continuous improvement efforts within the facility.
  • Accountable to key performance indicators within assigned area of responsibility in the factory including operational efficiency, downtime, and staffing utilization.

 

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of production experience in a manufacturing, technical, military or related environment
  • 2+ years of people leadership or supervisory experience

 

Other

  • Must be comfortable working nights and weekends

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $50,000 to $90,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
