POSITION SUMMARY

 

As a Sr. Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for managing inventory control and material accounting systems. You will manage a small team, while ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies, analyzing variance results and losses, coordinating monthly closing activities, managing budget requirements, and maintaining data integrity. The position also involves coordinating and advising on physical inventory procedures, providing employee evaluations and development, and supporting safety and quality standards.

 

  • Responsible for continuous analysis of variance results and losses of raw and packaging materials, and finished product
  • Coordinate monthly closing activities for materials accounting and report results at monthly review
  • Coordinate and manage budget requirements for materials accounting
  • Maintain data integrity and production data to ensure material master data accuracy and support traceability requirements
  • Coordinate, audit and advise on all physical inventory procedures in each respective area
  • Provide employee evaluations to direct report including recognition, coaching, and potential discipline.
  • Coordinate and assist in the development and cross training of accounting personnel

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business equivalent
  • 2+ years' of inventory management, general accounting, cost accounting experience or related field

 

Other

  • Manufacturing, production, warehousing, or military experience preferred
  • Direct supervisory experience preferred

The approximate pay range for this position is $71,000 to $98,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
