Clinton, IA has been home to one of our factories since 1969 – a proud producer of Pro Plan®, Purina ONE Beyond®, Purina Veterinary Diets®, Beggin®, T-Bonz® and Whisker Lickins® among other varieties.
For more than 100 years, Purina has been revolutionizing pet food production, and its ability to enrich the lives of pets everywhere. By 1956, mastering new production techniques, we literally reshaped pet care, introducing Dog Chow® as the first extruded dry food. We’re still at it today, with Tidy Cats®, the lightweight cat litter champion of the world and the leader in our category. As the Sr. Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing clerical administrative support for the Warehouse operations. You will be responsible for managing the daily warehouse shipping schedule by directing the activities for loading and shipping products, maintaining warehouse records, and performing job assignments to ensure we meet our warehouse and customer satisfaction goals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform all clerical duties directly related to warehouse activity
  • Check drivers in and out, while aiding loaders in locating product
  • Prepare and maintain productivity reports, shipping documents, pick/load slips and various other shipping office paperwork
  • Coordinate movement of trailers
  • Assist with the transfer of products between factory and outside storage
  • Prioritize and manage workload with various tools


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: 1+ years logistics and administrative experience in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, military or related environment
