Assistant Manager – Finance (Shared Services)

Position Summary:

The role is responsible for managing affiliate payments, processing VAT payments and returns, ensuring withholding tax (WHT) clearance and vendor reconciliation. Additionally, the position supports financial reporting and upholds compliance with internal controls and company standards.

 

A day in the life of the role:

  • Attend to vendor queries and ensure on-time payments.
  • Monitor vendor reconciliation process and maintain accuracy.
  • Compute VAT payments and file VAT returns accurately and on time.
  • Prepare monthly VAT forecasts and VAT-related provisions.
  • Handle VAT on free issues and rectify VAT payment/return errors.
  • Approve new vendor creations and update bank details.
  • Overlook WHT clearance process and ensure compliance.
  • Maintain general ledger hygiene and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Responsible for authority matrix and compliance with Nestlé governance standards.

 

What will make you successful?

  • Education: A degree in Business Management/ Accounting/ Finance and relevant full professional qualification in CA/ CIMA/ ACCA.
  • Expected experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and reporting with a good understanding of Finance shared services functions.
  • Language skills: Fluency in English.
  • Other skills: Possess strong technical and analytical abilities, proactive initiative, and problem-solving skills. Be adaptable, collaborative, and able to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
