Position: Executive – Key Accounts

Position Summary:

Deliver organization's strategic objectives in assigning supermarket chain/ Key Accounts having a fair understanding on customers and have close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

 

A day in the life of the role:

  • Achieve Sales plans and strategies to meet budgeted volume and value targets.
  • Responsible for the sales, distribution, promotions, merchandising, stock depth and planogram maintenance in the assigned supermarkets.
  • Develop and execute joint business planning (JBP) with selected key account customers.
  • Effectively execute promotional and merchandising plans and maintain healthy market hygiene in the supermarkets.
  • Able to develop sales strategies, techniques and tactics based on customer feedback and market environment.
  • Responsible to train and develop the Sales team such as Merchandisers and Sales Representatives.
  • Ensure timely submission and settlement of all claims.

 

What will make you successful:

  • Education: A degree in Marketing or Business Management
  • Expected experience: Minimum of 1 -  2 years of experience in Field Sales, Account Management, Business Development, Category Development, Distribution or involved in retail operations, preferably in a FMCG or MNC
  • Language skills: Be fluent in English & Sinhala
  • Other skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be open to challenges and demonstrate out of the box thinking, ability to coach talent and drive performance
