Your Job:
As our new Category Buyer, you will be responsible for managing Indirect Spend for our manufacturing sites in Turku (Finland) and Helsingborg (Sweden), with the potential to expand your scope to additional locations in the future.

 

Based at Nestlé’s Nordic headquarters in Ørestad, Copenhagen, you will join a results-oriented and collaborative Nordic Procurement team, working closely with both local stakeholders and global procurement colleagues. You will report directly to the Nordic Procurement Manager.

 

Together, we are responsible for driving value and efficiency across Indirect Spend categories in the four Nordic countries – Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.

 

Key responsibilities in this role include:

 

  • Act as the primary procurement point of contact for your designated sites and categories.
  • Collaborate with local teams to align global procurement strategies with business needs and drive implementation.
  • Lead RfX processes, including tenders, contract negotiations, and supplier agreements.Manage supplier relationships, focusing on performance, sustainability, and commercial discussions.
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment and communicate the value of procurement effectively.
  • Maintain accurate procurement data and identify risks that may impact operations.

  • Have some experience in sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation within complex organizations.
  • Are fluent in English. A Nordic language on top of this is a plus!
  • Build trusting relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and a strong focus on delivering results.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse audiences while showcasing problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Take ownership of tasks and thrive in independent, resilient roles that make a lasting impact.
